Fulham win over Hotspurs

Fulham 1, Hotspurs 0. It's true, the 4th place Spurs lost to the 13th place Fulham. It was as if Fulham were to nimble for the Spurs. For some, this game seemed quite palpable that it was in the Spurs hands but, with Dawson getting a red card in the 72nd minute, things changed in favor for Fulham. Luckily enogh, Bocanegra (also U.S. defender) was able to score in the 90th minute for Fulham giving them the victory!

Arsenal Problems?

Guess who lost today, again? Arsenal! What is wrong with the team, they loose to Everton and now Bolton. they are definately not akin to Man U or Chelsea. Not only did Arsenal loose (luckily only by one goal, 1-0) but, they had 5 yellow cards! Because they lost to Bolton, they are offically knocked out of the FA Cup, leaving them to only chase the Barclay's EPL Cup. The 4th place Gunners have a lot of work to do if they want any Cup this year.

As of now, Reyes is second for most yellow cards in the Prmiership. For Arsenal, nothing looks to bright. Everything goes down hill and now, for the big question, Can Arsenal move infromt of Tottenham?

Based on stats, for the past 4 years Arsenal has finished in the top 2 places. Can they do it again this year? Let's wait and find out!

Chelsea beat Sunderland, No surprise!

Chelsea beat Sunderland 2-1. How pathetic can Chelsea get. Only winning by one goal against last place Sunderland. One thing's for sure, Sunderland battled hard. They showed Chelsea what they are made of, kind of like The Battle of Bunker Hill!

Crespo and Robben both scored for Chelsea while Lawrence scored for Sunderland. For Chelsea, Robben recieved 2 yellows= red and, and Cole recieves a yellow. For Sunderland, only Stead recieves a yellow. It's amazing, after Robben scores his second goal, he recieves a red and yet, Sunderland can't score! This also shows how Chelsea is such a strong team and that they are looking for the Second FA Premiership cup in 2 years! Are the turning into a dyanasty like the Patriots? Who knows?

More To Add to Manchester United?

Alex Ferguson has not ruled out the possibility of bringing in another new face to bolster his Manchester United squad during the current transfer window. It is well known the Red Devils chief is on the look-out for a central midfielder to replace departed skipper Roy Keane and it is becoming increasingly likely Thomas Gravesen will leave Real Madrid before the month is over.

Manchester's next big game is away against Manchester City. Currently, there are 2nd in the premiership and are trailing Chelsea by a whopping 13 POINTS!!! Chelsea's next game is against last place Sunderland. So, for Manchester United, they have a big stymie to cross otherwise, Chelsea could be looking at another Premiership Cup which would be unfortunate for Sir Alex Ferguson and his red devils. Let's hope MAN U CAN GET THE CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (there last win was in 2001- 5 years ago!)

Arsenal loose in Carling Cup. Do they Still have the Skill to be a good team?

Wigan 1-0 Arsenal. The lights may have briefly disappeared on Wigan's moment of history, but their hopes of Carling Cup glory are burning brighter than ever on a night to remember for debut boy Paul Scharner. It means with Wigan playing in their first major semi-final, they are now just 90 minutes away from completing a remarkable journey to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for next month's final. How extraordinary the club's rise has been for it was on this day exactly 29 years ago they played Darwen in a Lancashire Senior Cup tie, winning that game 5-0. It's almost like considering Arsenal as Darwen!

In the 78th minute, Paul Scharner scores a good goal from left goalbox left low with his head. In the 65th minute, Stephane Henchoz is awarded a yellow card for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Perhaps unsurprisingly, and in stark contrast, Arsene Wenger opted to remain loyal to those players who had carried Arsenal to this stage, albeit with this tournament also fourth on his list of priorities. Remarkably, just three players - Fredrik Ljungberg, Pascal Cygan and Gilberto Silva - were the only survivors from Arsenal's thrilling 3-2 Barclays Premiership win over Wigan at the JJB Stadium two months ago. That day there was also a then record club and stadium attendance of 25,004, but given the general apathy towards the Carling Cup - even at this exalted stage for Wigan - there were 13,000 missing for this game. But given the respective line-ups, there appeared to be a sense among the Wigan players the Gunners were there for the taking. In the space of 11 minutes striker David Connolly limped off with a hamstring injury, while winger Lee McCulloch suffered a groin strain that also resulted in an early exit. In between, midfield powerhouse Jimmy Bullard sustained a gaping hole in his ankle as he went to ground in being shoved by Kerrea Gilbert. At least that teed up Graham Kavanagh for a 20-yard free-kick through a fragmented wall that forced a superb, low save from Manuel Almunia. After Stephane Henchoz had bravely thrown his body in the way of a fierce drive from Flamini, McCulloch's departure resulted in the arrival of Scharner. With the Austria international sporting blue and white stripes shaved into his hair, his first touch was to chest a poor Almunia clearance and go for broke from 30 yards, but with his effort way off target. Despite the understrength nature of Wenger's team, their football was still the sharper compared to Wigan's more gritty approach, underlined by the running battle Roberts endured with Phillipe Senderos and Pascal Cygan. That was until the lights went out nine minutes into the second half due to a powercut in the Wigan area. What is Wigan, a freak team with miracles happening every game? Haven't you Arsenal fans had enough? I think it's time to switch to Manchester United. What do you say?

Erva Is finished Signing With Man U

It's official, Erva (French defender, 24-year-old) has signed a 3.5 year contract with the Red Devils. He is thought to phave been paid Euro 5 million or, 6.04 million U.S. Surprisingly, he is supposed to go into the squad for their Carling Cup game tomorrow night against Blackburn. "He is a good age and he is still developing as a player, which is always exciting," said Ferguson, "We have been monitoring him all season and it is fantastic that he is joining Manchester United."
Inter Milan were also interested in landing the Senegal-born player, who joined Monaco from Nice in 2002. However, Red Devils chief executive David Gill flew to the principality to clinch the deal on Thursday evening. Although Evra, who will be handed the vacant squad number three, is also capable of operating in midfield, United see their most recent purchase mainly as a left-back. It is a position they have had trouble filling since Gabriel Heinze ruptured cruciate ligaments in September. With Heinze out for the remainder of the season, Evra will be given the opportunity to make a defensive slot his own and try to push himself forward for a recall into the French World Cup squad this summer.

Henry to stay with Arsenal?

Henry still shows signs that he wants to continue to play for Arsenal. This gives Arsenal the advantage over him going to Barcelona's training camp (Nou Camp) and him switching over to Barcelona. What if he does go to Barcelona? Will Barcelona be the strongest team in the world? What happens to Arsenal? That all depends on Henry and Wenger. If wenger offers a good extension for HEnry then sure, he will continue with Arsenal. But, what if Barcelona give him a plus million over Arsenal. IS he going to stay or what. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ARSENAL AND HENRY?

FA cup: Man U ties!

Unfortunately for Manchester United, they tied Burton Albion 0-0.
United struggled on a heavy pitch, although Wayne Rooney twice forced saves from Burton goalkeeper Saul Deeney after coming on as a substitute. A late winner for United would have been cruel on Burton, who held firm in the second half as the Premiership side pressed forward. But anyone who thought that United would cruise to a comfortable victory had to quickly reassess their opinion as the Conference side made an assertive start. Albion played a hard and physical game to Manchester United's surprise. Thus, they tied in this should have been easy win!

From BBC Sport

Wayne Rooney Possible Candidate for Captain?

Yes, it's true. Ferguson believes Wayne Rooney has the potential to lead the Red Devils. It may not be this season but, it could be in the future. “I think there are indications there that he has the mental toughness, respect and the winning mentality that Manchester United captains need to have.”
