2 Fabulous UEFA Games

In the past 3 days, 4 teams have played 2 amazing games. In the first game, (Arsenal vs. Real Madrid) Henry scored a goal in the second half giving Arsenal an amzing win and making Real Madrid feel like nothing. Some may say that Arsenal are terrible but, if we really think about it, they are the best. They play true soccer, pass and move. They also ever give up, always playing 110% to the end. Thus, they beat Real Madrid!

As for Barcelona vs. Chelsea, there (surprisingly) 2 own goals. The first commited by Barcelona's Motta and Chelsea's Terry. Not only did Chelsea score a own goal, they also recieved a red card on behalf of Del Horno in the first half and,Eto'o helped Barcelona win the game 2-1 withan amzing header. Chelsea's manager Mourinho also blames their lose on the fact that the ref awarded the red card to Del Horno.

Sunderland Remain In Last

Blackburn beat Sunderland 2-0. Bellamy scored both goals for Blackburn (pictured below when he played for Newcastle). For Sunderland, they have won a total of 2 games of 26, lost 20 games of 26 and, tied 4games of 26. These stats basically show you how bad an EPL team can be. For Sunderland, they most definately are heading to the next lower division.

Arsenal Lose Once Again!

Yes, no surprise. Arsenal loose to Liverpool 1-0. Henry needs to move to a different team for a better future. He has already broken a goal scoring record on Arsenal. Maybe he should have gone to Barcelona earlier in the season. As for Arsenal as a whole, they have excellent players not playing to their potential. Even though Arsenal has many good individuals, it does not seem like they are working as a team. For example, Chelsea: they have good players and work well together => they win games= 1st place. Or maybe, Arsenal players just don't work well together. Well, it looks like Arsene Wenger has a lot of work to do!

Yes, it's also true that Gerrard missed a PK! How can he miss a shot like that!? Also, Garcia scored in the 87th minute.

If Arsenal could hold up for 86 minutes, you would think they would give 110% but, they didn't. They let up and this is exactly what happens when you let up.

Chelsea Give Us a Surprise!

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough, 3-0. It was devastating for the whole team and especially Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho. Although Chelsea lost, it is not terrible news for them because they still are in 1st and have not done anything forcing them to win any of their remaining games in the season. For Middlesbrough, Fabio Rochemback, Stewart Downing, and Aiyegbeni Yakubu. For Chelsea, they recieved 3 yellow cards on top of a defeat. I am sure that Mourinho was very unhappy with his teams performance and will be looking for betternext time!

Chelsea beat Everton in FA Cup

Chelsea killed Everton 4-1. Goals for Chelsea came from Robben, Lampard, Crespo, and Terry. For Everton, Arteta scored. This just shows how strong Chelsea is. This also gives Chelsea their 4th chance at the FA Cup in 4 years. Also, Chelsea only had 1 yellow card in the whole game from Gallas unlike Everton who had 3 yellow cards. The 3 cards came from Valente, Cahill, Lee, and Carsley. Chelsea'a next challenge is on March 7th aganst Barcelona for the UEFA Champions League. If Chelsea win this game, they will be recognized (without doubt) to be one of the most adroit teams in soccer history.

Chelsea also has another shot at winning the Barclay's EPL. Right now, they are in 1st with Man U trailing by 15 pts. or, 5 wins!

Reina gets red

During Liverpool's game against Chelsea, goalkeeper Reina got a red card in the 81st minute for a brawl with Robben (at Stamford Bridge). This forces Liverpool to use backup keeper Jerzy Dudek who touched the ball for Liverpool for the first time in 2006 ; yesterday. Their next game is at 13th place Charlton.
I feel they are going to loose given that backup keeper Dudek in for the first time (considering that he will probably play the whole game.)
Reina is pictured below to the left and Dudek is pictured to the right.

Man U Beat Fulham

Yesterday at Old Trafford, Man U beat Fulham, 4-2. With Park scoring the first goal in the first half at 6 minutes, everything began to roll out in favor of the Red Devils. Cristiano Ronaldo had 2 sensational goals. One of a penalty 20 yds. out and another within 8 feet and off the post of a tough angle. Also Saha scored for Man U in the 23rd minute. As for Fulham, McBride and Helquson scored.

In the first half, 4 of the total 6 goals were scored. 3 from Man U and 2 from Fulham. Also, today is Ronaldo's b-day. I think he enjoyed scoring 2 fabulous goals before his b-day. It was like he was celebrating his b-day today (21).
Lets go ManU.

Man U lose but, still are in 2nd!

Although Man U lost to Blackburn 4-3 at Edwood Park (away), they still hold second place. For Blackburn's Bently, he got a hat trick. His 3 goals streak began in the 35th minute, 41st minute, and finally the 56th minute. Also for Blackburn, Lucas Neil scored on a PK in the 45th minute. As for Man U, van Nistelrooy scored two goals. The first in the 63rd minute and the second in the 68th minute. Also scoring for Man U was Saha (37th minute).

As for cards, each team recieved 3 yellow cards but, Man U's Ferdinand recieved a red card in the 88th minute for his second yellow card. But, that did not really matter much because they basically had lost even though 1 goal behind. They could do nothing with 10 players and 2 minutes to go(plus stoppage time).

Also today:
Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa (surprise)
Man City 3-0 Newcastle
Liverpool 1-1 Birmingham
Portsmouth 1-1 Bolton
West Ham 3-2 Arsenal (Arsenal just don't have the potential)
