Eduardo to continue stay at Arsenal

Earlier this week, Gunner striker Eduardo agreed to sign a long term contract with the Gunners. Although suffering the severe leg injury just last year, he has returned to excellent form. He is performing pretty well with 18 goals in 48 games; obviously not too many but he will certainly be back to his prior form in not to long. Arsenal head coach, Wenger, has praised him on many occasions as well speaking highly of his strength and courage to be able to return to play after such a severe injury. Best of luck to Eduardo in his future endeavors at the Emirates as Arsenal are currently placed in second in the EPL and look to advance to 1st over the Blues.

Also, this has been a week full of World Cup qualification matches with only months remaining before the kick of off the 2010 World Cup. For the full schedule as well as results, please visit the ESPNsoccer link to the left.
